Being Brain-Ambidextrous! Balancing the left + logic-based side of our brain’s functionality with the right & creativity-based side is the key to our success. Driving revenue performance without a little imagination, or being innovative without data backing your decision-making is what we seek to avoid. Marrying the two skillsets is what Hive does better than the rest.

Creativity is everything. Spending a few extra minutes thinking about how you can say yes instead of no is the difference between good and great sales. (It’s also the difference between good and great hotels.)

Telling the truth is the only way to fix a bad situation, even when the truth hurts (or just plain stinks). Getting to the root of a problem is more important than not rocking the boat.

Here at Hive Marketing, we believe our left & our right brains can be equally balanced. We utilize our critical thinking skills when completing marketing strategies and we get creative when optimizing revenue for our clients. We disregard the traditional separation between logic and emotion. We exist in the balance between the two sides of our brain.

Introducing: Top Floor Podcast!

Top Floor is a hospitality marketing podcast, and we specialize in helping our listeners elevate their hotel, restaurant, or other hospitality business story through practical, tangible advice from experts.

The show starts with the Emergency Call Button, a listener question about a specific marketing issue that my guest and I answer with suggestions. This is followed by the discussion portion, based on questions that I share in advance.

After the discussion is over, we head down to the Loading Dock. The Loading Dock is a short segment at the end of each show where our guests share their craziest, funniest, or just plain weirdest hospitality stories.

Our ultimate goal is to strike a balance between entertaining and informative, and we want listeners to come away with a practical idea or tactic they can try.
